The woman behind the brand

Amber started in the medical camouflaging makeup industry in 2005 by teaching her clients how to cover their scars and birthmarks with makeup. Her directed focus in Micropigmentation began in 2007, and since then she has performed countless procedures, including 2 medical missions to India where she worked to provide free medical tattoos to acid attack survivors and those suffering from vitiligo.

As an educator, Amber developed and implemented fundamental training programs as well as advanced workshops in the Micropigmentation field. Amber holds a CIDESCO designation in medical esthetics since 2005. 

Her journey into the plastic surgery arena began with scrubbing into observe surgeries during her medical missions in India. She finds the skin fascinating and enjoys continuing to learn how to help it heal and recover.  She herself underwent plastic surgery in 2020 and spent her recovery under lockdown. During this time she researched and learned how to heal herself.  She came across the method of utilizing tapes to assist in healing. Through testing on herself and her many volunteers she has established a consistent protocol for utilizing tapes to aid in skin retraction, healing and support. She continues to research and collect her data, and plans to publish her findings on the benefits of her Support Tape for skin retraction.
